Founded in 2025 by experienced practitioners and trainers Kemi Omijeh and Dr Ama Collison – a psychotherapist and psychologist respectively – We Are Akoma is a purpose-led organisation offering training, consultancy, and psychological supervision to multi-disciplinary practitioners and organisations. our mission is to improve the educational and mental health outcomes for children and young people from racially minoritised backgrounds.

Consultancy and training sessions

Ama was an engaging speaker who helped our staff with adapting the curriculum to the needs of our pupils.
